4/19/05 – The May Issue of the #1 horror magazine will include an extensive feature on Dead & Breakfast.
3/11/05 – Dead & Breakfast premieres today in Prague at the Kino Theater. Upcoming festival screenings include the Brussels Int’l Festival Of Fantastic Films and the Bangkok Film Festival.
3/03/05 – In the March issue (issue #44), the horror magazine looked back on 2004 and recognized Dead & Breakfast as the Best Independent Film of the year.
1/10/05 - The website announced it’s top ten movies of the year and gave Dead & Breakfast an Honorable Mention.
10/17/04 - Dead & Breakfast won the Best Film Award at Shriekfest in L.a. and the Grand Prize at The Rhode Island International Horror Festival. The film was also selected to screen at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin over the Halloween weekend where it played to another sold-out crowd.
10/08/04 -David Carradine who plays the owner of the B&B was in Ghent, Belgium to introduce Dead & Breakfast at the Flanders International Film Festival.
October begins with Anchor Bay acquiring all North American rights for Dead & Breakfast. An April 2005 limited theatrical release is planned.
9/25/04 – After screening to a standing room only crowd of over 500
Dead & Breakfast received some notice from a headline in The Birmingham
post-Herald:
Sidewalk's fans rate their favorites; 'Dead and Breakfast' wins praise -
The comedy zombie flick from San Francisco director Mathew Leutwyler earned
more mentions than any other film for its zany scenes that included zombies
doing a choreographed dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
"It was off the wall — just no holds barred," said William
Smith, 22, of Southside. "It's one of those you just enjoy, and you don't
even realize how long you're in the theater."

7/15/04 - ‘Rue Morgue Presents Cinemacbre Movie Nights’ screens
D&B to another sold-out crowd at the Bloor Cinema, Toronto. Matthew Leutwyler
and the film have also been invited to Rue Morgue’s 2004 Festival OF
Fear in August.
July ends with D&B invited to the Boston Film Festival, Rhode Island Int’l Film Festival, Oldenburg Int’l Film Festival (Germany). And Brussels Festival of Horror and Fantasy Films, Maine int’l Film Festival, Hollywood Film Festival.
Issue #39 May/June includes a two-page spread on Dead & Breakfast.
4/24/04 - Dead & Breakfast makes its U.K. Premiere at the Dead By Dawn Festival in Scotland where it is Runner-up for the Audience Award before going to Madrid to play to more than 600 at I Muestra de Cine Fantastica y De Terror.
3/25/04 - Dead & Breakfast makes its International Premier at Germany’s Weekend of fear where it wins both the Jury Award and Audience Award for Best Int’l Film. The following week at The San Francisco horror festival, it also picks up the Audience Award.
3/15/04 - Dead & Breakfast makes its World Premiere at South By Southwest film Festival, selling out two screenings at the prestigious event.
